Initial Boundary Value Problem for Generalized 2d Complex Ginzburg–landau Equation*

In this paper we study an initial boundary value problem for a generalized complex Ginzburg–Landau equation with two spatial variables (2D). Applying the notion of the ε-regular map we show the unique existence of global solutions for initial data with low regularity and the existence of the global attractor.

Two Boundary Value Problems for the Ginzburg-landau Equation

Two boundary value problems for the Ginzburg-Landau equation are considered. Extensive numerical calculations have been performed in each case, including bifurcation histories, spectral analysis, PoincarC sections and Hausdorff dimension estimates. The approach to the inviscid limit is given detailed treatment. In this case universal behavior has been found to exist. Arguments are presented to ...

Boundary problems for the Ginzburg-Landau equation

We provide a study at the boundary for a class of equation including the Ginzburg-Landau equation as well as the equation of travelling waves for the Gross-Pitaevskii model. We prove Clearing-Out results and an orthogonal anchoring condition of the vortex on the boundary for the Ginzburg-Landau equation with magnetic field.

Solutions with Vortices of a Semi-Stiff Boundary Value Problem for the Ginzburg-Landau Equation

We study solutions of the 2D Ginzburg-Landau equation −∆u + 1 ε2 u(|u| − 1) = 0 subject to “semi-stiff” boundary conditions: Dirichlet conditions for the modulus, |u| = 1, and homogeneous Neumann conditions for the phase. The principal result of this work shows that there are stable solutions of this problem with zeros (vortices), which are located near the boundary and have bounded energy in t...

An analytic solution for a non-local initial-boundary value problem including a partial differential equation with variable coefficients

‎This paper considers a non-local initial-boundary value problem containing a first order partial differential equation with variable coefficients‎. ‎At first‎, ‎the non-self-adjoint spectral problem is derived‎. ‎Then its adjoint problem is calculated‎. ‎After that‎, ‎for the adjoint problem the associated eigenvalues and the subsequent eigenfunctions are determined‎. ‎Finally the convergence ...
